Just some fitness things. I like to keep it straight.


It's been quite a few days--probably over two weeks--since I missed a day of stair running.


Wednesday I ran 5000 stairs, did 200 push-ups, walked three miles. Ran 3000 stairs and did 200 push-ups Thursday, then it was 3000 and 100 Friday.


Yesterday I ran 5000 stairs and did 100 push-ups. Today I ran 5000 stairs, did 200 push-ups, and walked ten miles.


Today marked 2849 days, or 407 weeks, without a drink.


I have not deviated from my new all-out healthy dietary approach. It's becoming not that new now and just how things are.


A curious thing happened at the Starbucks after all of that this afternoon. The barista asked me if I was okay. Physically. Like if I needed help. I was completely taken aback by this. Flabbergasted. Did I need assistance? So then I thought, great, maybe I look all heart attack-y.


I went into the bathroom to look and all I saw was a fit, healthy-looking Zulu warrior. So I don't know what that was about. She even said, "I hope the coffee helps."
