With only two proper studio albums, one would think that the Yardbirds have a small discography, but they recorded a lot of music and there's a great deal that is available.
Having Graham Greene write about films--and Graham Greene wanting to write about films--made for amusing reading because I don't think Graham Greene liked the very concept of films.
Cream must have been such an exciting band to people when they appeared on the scene in autumn 1966. They were true direction-changers and the effect was immediate. Their resonance was demonstrative.

People now often use the word "calculus" to try and sound smart. They never use it correctly.
The Bruins edged the Golden Knights the other night here in Boston, but the same issues persist. The first period of the game was the Bruins' best period of the season, in my view, and they went up 3-0, but they opened the door, and Vegas made a game of it. The Bruins let you back into games. They blow third period leads. I wish they would do something at the deadline. Move Ullmark. Move DeBrusk. Shake up, shore up. Go into the playoffs with a different mix and a tweaked spirit.
