I've alluded to how this is a period of change, as I complete some things and begin what is a joint period of moving both backwards and forwards simultaneously.
I'm still not going into much detail yet, but part of what I'm doing is a bit like what Lucinda Williams did here in these two recordings.
This is a song called "I Lost It" off of Lucinda Williams' second album, Happy Woman Blues, released in 1980. Listen to it. Good, yes?
Here is the same song, remade eighteen years later for Car Wheels on a Gravel Road. Now listen to this:
Do you hear that? Same song, but quite the difference.
