Walked twelve miles yesterday and nine today. Fixed a story that is very strong called "Telezone" which was written a few weeks ago for Longer on the Inside. It's about a children's game of telephone, with the girl who is last in line hearing something quite dreadful that sends her on a sort of in-school odyssey ending at a real telephone. Sent a hockey op-ed pitch. Here is yesterday's Downtown segment, which I think was pretty good.
I saw this today in a Back Bay alley and was moved greatly by it. Naked humanness stashed away in a place where one is unlikely to look.
