Red Sox!!!!

If I had pulled a mini-Rip Van Winkle and passed out in the woods for a month and emerged to learn that the 2026 Boston Red Sox had just won 15 games in a row, as they now have, my incredulity would have been as vast as that forest. Tied with the 1946 Red Sox for longest in franchise history! I'm certainly not comparing these teams, but do you know how awesome the '46 Sox were? They won 104 games when the season was only 154. The most surprising long winning streak in baseball history. Wow. Hot damn.

I'll have more to say about the Sox later. I've had so much to do, and been trying to get myself together to do it, but I've kept a sharp eye on everything the team has been doing. Even though this is just a quick entry, I couldn't not make note of the team's achievement before tonight's second game of the doubleheader. Good stuff.
