Was sent this big catalogue to a baseball memorabilia auction. I wonder where they got my info. A 1933 Ruth Goudey, 1953 Mantle Bowman, and game-used Ted Williams jersey are on the cover.
Beatles package came from Universal.
Watched the Hammer film The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb (1964).
Ran 3000 stairs, did 100 push-ups. Managed another set of forty push-ups on tile this time.
There are about fifteen books actively going right now--fiction and non--and I need to start bringing some in. That is, have them fully done. There are so many individual pieces to write at the same time. I must do better. And then there are the various books that are done and needing to be placed and come out.
Text to my sister:
Hi. I understand that a buddy of mine is having a party today with her friends. Will you please tell her after that her buddy in Boston hopes she had a great time. Also, that he thought he heard the ghost at the school last night. (She will know what this means.) And could you perhaps put what I got her in a pink paper bag or something like that? I would appreciate it.
Part of a different text to someone else on a farm in Maine:
...as I intimated, the carrying of water is not for me. I'm doing this--it's going to be because of me. It's going to come from me.
MacKinnon and Kucherov really aren't that far off of McDavid's pace from last year. I find that somewhat surprising. They could both clear 140 points.
What is the best album by Miles Davis's Second Great Quintet? I would say it's between Miles Smiles and E.S.P., with Nefertiti being the dark horse. But actually it's probably the complete Plugged Nickel set. I think that's most emblematically that unit, as the complete BBC material is most emblematically the Beatles.
