Told in the first person by a woman who's tired

She's an exhausted single parent trying to stretch a dollar, taking care of her elderly parents with no help from her siblings and her being the asshole if she brings that up

Going on bad dates, having another relationship end, failing to reach her kids, get them off screens

Losing herself, her mind it feels like

A cancer scare

These structured bedtime readings so her kids won't just be zombies while she's the one nodding off

It's called "You're Probably Just Tired". Feels like a short story version for what should be the national anthem. I don't know...it feels big to me. Not that anyone's going to see it...but if they did.
