Generation this, generation that. My generation, your generation, everyone in our generation, etc.

The Oscars, the Grammys, Emmys.

Awards shows.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Opening ceremonies.

The Olympics pretty much entirely, save the hockey component, which are just exhibition hockey games to me but with the best players trying hard so I watch because of that if convenient (that is, not writing or sleeping so I can get an early start).

Age, as practically everyone looks at it and talks about it and conceptually, prematurely, querulously, dramatically self-ascribes it so as to speed it up and reap what they feel are the benefits of excuses (it's not me, it's this other thing). And bitching for points/followers doing the same.

Thoughts and prayers.

Who's dating who.

The weather. Snow, rain, winter, the cold.

Musician biopics.

So-called (current) comedians.

Vacations.

Pools.

Pot.

Degrees.

Titles.

Weddings.

Referees.

Podcasts.

Fantasy. As a genre.

Genre.

Halftime shows.

COVID, the flu, and the like. I'm not talking about when it comes to the elderly or infirm. I mean able-bodied, healthy people who make something much bigger than it is. The thirty-four-year-old who wants to moan for internet points.

Streaming services.

The sun going down earlier rather than later.

Restaurants, eating out, having food delivered.

Fast food.

Uber.

Fantasy leagues, betting, casinos, scratch tickets, any kind of gambling.

Wordle, etc.

Super Bowl commercials.

Elves on shelves.

Horoscopes.

Perceived announcer bias.
