Yesterday was a difficult day to hang on. I did not want to. But I am still here.
I wasn't going to, but I worked more on "Eye of Green" this morning. Last year, when I wrote "Best Present Ever," I didn't know how--not if--I could write a Christmas story as good as that one, but I know now that with "Eye of Green" I'm going to end up doing just that.
It's unlikely to be done for Christmas but that doesn't matter. It's 3400 words now, and it will be a lot longer.
I also now know what the last story will be in The Solution to the World's Problems: Surprising Tales of Relentless Joy.
It'll be this one which begins,
"Look at that," Eamon said out loud to Eamon.
